Cross-Platform Porting & Technical Optimization

Porting work on Unity and Unreal projects: input and UI rework for a new target, platform SDK integration, memory and frame-time optimization, and the certification-driven fixes that follow.

A port is rarely a recompile. It is input remapping, safe-area and UI scaling, storage and save-data APIs, achievement and presence integration, suspend and resume behaviour, and then a long tail of profiling until the frame budget fits the target hardware.

What the work covers

  • Engine and toolchain upgrade paths where the current version cannot target the platform
  • Input, UI scaling and safe-area rework for controller, touch and handheld form factors
  • Platform SDK integration: save data, achievements, presence, storefront entitlements
  • CPU and GPU profiling, memory budgets, load-time and shader-compilation work
  • Certification-driven fix rounds against the platform technical requirement list

Questions developers ask

How do you scope a port?

We ask for the project, a build, and a short technical brief. The assessment that comes back names the target, the blocking issues we found, the ones we suspect, and what we cannot judge without deeper access. Estimates are ranges with the assumptions written next to them.

Do you need our source code?

For engine-level porting, yes. Access terms, scope and confidentiality obligations are set in the agreement before anything is transferred, and access is limited to the people doing the work.

No outcome is promised. Store acceptance is decided by the platform holder, age ratings are issued by rating boards, and editorial and creator coverage is an independent decision. We commit to the work described in the agreement and report what actually happened. Platform, storefront, engine and rating-board names are used descriptively to identify the destinations we submit builds to and the tools we work in. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their use here is not a claim of partnership, endorsement, certification or approval.
